OUR MISSION

To connect with Melbourne and Victorian Artists to increase productivity, confidence, knowledge and motivation.

OUR STORY

Peta Tranquille founded us on February 15, 2019, to help her find other Victorian artists.

Peta moved to Melbourne, from Perth, in 2013 and wanted to be involved in the local art community.

Within one year over 750 artists had joined the FB group. It has continued to grow and now has in excess of 1400.

The group has regular group exhibitions and is focused on networking, educating and supporting local artists.

There are regular meetup events, and many friendships have developed throughout the group.

In July 2020 Melbourne and Victorian Artists Inc. became an official non-profit association.

We are here to support every visual artist and maker living in Victoria!
