I am a self-taught, Melbourne based artist.

My artwork varies enormously. Whilst I draw large hyper-realistic style portraits with graphite and charcoal, I also do abstract art, using acrylic paint and mixed media. Unlike the control required for my drawings, I have the challenge but also the joy of using colour, a loose application and interpretations of reality in my work. My paintings often comprise complex layers of brilliant colour, and lots of different tones and textures, and their subject matter is left to the viewer to interpret for themselves what they are seeing.
