Born in the Philippines in 1982 and arrived in Australia in 1997. Jonabelle is an emerging and multidisciplinary artist working with photography, printmaking, drawing and painting, dressmaking, and silversmithing. Jonabelle draws inspiration from her surroundings, whether from nature or urban, and finds and highlights the beauty in the mundane.

Jonabelle received Certificates 3 & 4 in Visual Arts in 2021 and 2022 and is currently undertaking Certificate 3 in Photography.

Jonabelle had her first solo exhibition with Level Up this year displaying works of collages of photographs. At the same time, she also held an extended exhibition at the Annex, assembling photographs in real-time for the public to see and interact with. She also held her first workshops in creating photo montages of Wyndham's local areas. Currently, Jonabelle is displaying work at the Annex as a part of a group exhibition called Recollection, as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival, organised by Wunder Gym and in collaboration with Wyndham and Hobsons Bay Councils, as well as mentored by Elvis Richardson.
Jonabelle is currently working on a new set of montages of photographs for the Brimbank Council for Feb/Mar 2024.
