Hi, my name is Sharie, originally from Europe, living in Melbourne since 1997. I am a health care professional and an amateur art maker who enjoys painting and drawing. I have always loved creating especially in my childhood. My rediscovered creative side emerged during long Melbourne lock down.

Living close to Heidy Galery, Montalvat and NGV, I am spoiled for choice to enjoy viewing art works and art spaces. I enjoy any art form and expression especially modern art, naive art, indigenous art and art works with vibrant colours. I love work of Mirka Mora and later art of Yayoi Kusama. My inspiration comes from colours, patterns, shapes, nature, emotions and life events around me. I like to use mixed media - acrylic paint and ink pen for still life. I make large abstract paintings using pointillism and at times I make large symbolic naive paintings. Creating makes me feel happy, calm and in a " flow".

I would like to share my creative making with wider community and colleague art makers and artists.
