Welcome to my world of contemporary impressionist paintings. Bold, rich colour, texture, emotion and perspective are always key elements in my art. In particular, I am especially entranced by the sun’s effect on colour and love exploring shifts of light, movement and play between sunlight and shadow. You could say I'm a ‘scapist’ with a gallery full of treescapes, seascapes and cityscapes. In truth, though, I’ll paint anything that inspires me! If a concept sticks in my mind then I just have to paint it out of there! My works can be found in galleries, art exhibitions and private collections across Australia and internationally. One of my original caricature rooster paintings ‘Wild (Crazy) Donald’ even lives in Hollywood…I kid you not!

Nearly a decade ago, painting became my foundation for a major life shift as I stepped out of the corporate world to improve my health and wellbeing. No surprise then, that conveying my gratitude and appreciation for nature is right at the heart of each painting. Witnessing each season’s uniqueness is like a tap on the shoulder to me; hence I strive to create a sense of ‘being there’ in every artwork. It still blows me away every time someone connects with my message and chooses to live with one of my paintings. Its something I never take for granted.
