This was MAVA’s second exhibition and it was huge with 56 artists. There were very large works and very small works all based around the theme of Manifest. It was at a relatively new space in Mont Albert called 345AC. Since then many MAVA artists have had the opportunity to exhibit work in the space.
We had a very packed opening night on November 9 and the exhibition ended up extending right up to Jan 10, 2020. We even gave artists the opportunity to give talks about their artwork. It was great practice as some had never done it before.
Our People’s Choice Award winner was Carolyn Vickers.
