Anthroposcene

$450.00Price

The work is a multiple exposure of four images that reflects the state of our heating world. The lower images were taken at sunset after the black summer fires of 2020, the middle image is that of a blue mushroom (mycena interrupta - pixie's parasol) which is a native fungi found in the temperate rainforests of Australia and New Zealand. The layering of these photographs creates a work reminiscent of images of Earth from space - reminding us there is no planet B.
